iFactory🄬, a continuous production system for pharmaceutical products, etc, won the Japan Open Innovation Award

At the 4th Japan Open Innovation Prize in FY2021, the innovative continuous production system “iFactory🄬” received the Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry Award. iFactory🄬 is an innovative production line that enables continuous production of a series of manufacturing processes (purification, concentration, crystallization, filtration, drying) for pharmaceutical products, etc.
The award was given by a highly evaluation of open innovation in collaboration with 14 companies from different industries such as iFactory Co., Ltd., National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology and one institute. Our Taylor Vortex Nano Reactor “TVF🄬” is introduced in the crystallization process.

Registration of Patent for “Ceramic Components and Flow Path Components”

This invention is related to catalyst carrier for petrochemical and natural gas, inert flower (BSF), which not only has low pressure loss but also has high thermal shock resistance to prevent cracks. Our patent no. for this invention is 6918351.

It was adopted by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry for the “The third year of Reiwa era Strategic Core Technology Advancement Program (Supporting Industry Program)”

Supporting Industry Program is an approach by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry to support the advanced research and development through industry-academia collaboration to improve basic manufacturing technology in Japan.

Tipton will work on the advancement of barrel finishing technology in collaboration with National University Corporation Kanazawa University.

In public offering this time, 60 applications including our company were adopted for 247 applications nationwide.
